Georgina was launching her first Airbnb listing in Wallingford, Connecticut and needed photography that would give the property a strong start. A new listing with no reviews depends entirely on its photos to build trust with potential guests. My job was to make sure the first impression was worth booking.

The home is a three-bedroom with a warm, lived-in feel: a brick fireplace in the living room, neutral tones throughout, wood cabinetry in the kitchen, and enough space for four guests to settle in comfortably. It is not trying to be a design showroom. It is trying to feel like a home, and the photography needed to reflect that.

I focused on light and warmth. Floor lamps and fireplace framing in the living room, window light in the bedrooms, clean sight lines through the kitchen and dining area. The goal was to make every room feel welcoming and easy to read at thumbnail size, because that is where the booking decision usually starts.

The property sits in a quiet Wallingford neighborhood with easy access to Choate Rosemary Hall, downtown Wallingford, Yale, and Masonicare, which makes it well positioned for both family visits and extended stays.

I photograph short-term rental properties across Connecticut and Massachusetts. If you are launching a new listing or refreshing an existing one, let's talk.
